Geddington CC Hundred Club
From November 2007 we have been running a Hundred Club, hopefully this will prove a fun way of raising some much needed funds for the club and giving you the opportunity of some lucky win-falls yourself. The information below should answer any questions you may have and explain how it all works, but if you need any more information see Mark Toseland, Darren Garley or Mark Pearson.
The Geddington CC Hundred Club is a new 'lottery style' club which has been set up as a way for the club to bring in much needed funds. Over the last few years we have relied upon sponsorship and a few major fundraising events to finance the everyday running of a club like ours. We need to look at new ways for the club to support its self, as these sponsors will not be available to us indefinitely. The Hundred Club is a 'mutual benefits club', which means that whilst it is owned by the members of Geddington CC Cthe promoter) it is designed specifically to provide much needed funds and offers substantial CASH PRIZE winnings every month to its members. Everybody wins!!
How does the 100 Club work?
o Each member will pay £5.00 per month to become a member of the Geddington Cricket Club Hundred Club.
o The first drawn on the first Thursday of every month and will start in November 2007
o Monies can be paid in a yearly lump sum of £60 or you can set up a standing order from you bank.
o The monthly Prize winner will be drawn by the Chairman or the Vice
Chairman or their nominated representative, at the Geddington Cricket Club committee meeting.
o Initially, in the first few months, prizes will be capped at 50% of takings. Thereafter, the monthly cash prizes will increase incrementally as the membership and the funds increase and as soon as we reach 100 members, there will be monthly prizes of £200.00.
o After the individual winners have been 'paid out', all residual monies from the funds will go directly to the club.
o Entry forms are enclosed, please complete them fully and hand in to Mark Toseland, Darren Garley or Mark Pearson.
o If the member no longer wishes to take part, his or her number will immediately be made available to be re-allocated to another person.
