15TH APRIL:
The season is looming, just 3 weeks until we start with an away fixture at Barton Seagrave.
During the winter months we have gained a player, Mr Richard Edwards returned to the club after a long absence. However, with the squad looking pretty big to start the season off, Richard has agreed happily to a loan deal with our close rivals the Kettering Flames.
I am in the process of sorting the team for the first fixture out now, and hope to name it by this weekend. The thinking behind this is that we have a big squad this year, and keeping everyone happy wont be easy, so the earlier we can let people know they wont be playing the better. Hopefully, anyone unlucky enough not to get selected will still come along and support the boys.
We had a team meeting last week, and made a few decisions. Match fees will remain at £3.00, and the beer will cost 50p per can. Money made from the beer bitch, will go towards the end of season bash!
